Common questions
Your first solo project is free, forever — no card required. A second solo project unlocks with the Single plan ($9.99/mo). Band projects unlock with the Band plan ($29.99/mo). Both are recurring monthly subscriptions billed securely through Stripe.
On your device. Your account, projects and recorded audio live in the browser's local database on your own device — not on a remote server. Your recordings never leave your device unless you explicitly export them.
Chord Wizard, Rhyme Vault, Mode Forge and the Circle of Fifths are deterministic music-theory and lookup tools — no AI, so they're instant and consistent. The floating Wizard assistant runs on an AI model hosted locally alongside the app, not a third-party cloud AI — free to use without limit and your conversation never leaves your device.

SonoArc runs as a web app today, with native iOS and Windows/Mac desktop packaging planned. Your subscription is meant to cover the app across the platforms we ship it on.
