Find your key & vocal range
Let the analyzer read your voice and pick a key your chorus can land.
Steps
- 1
Allow microphone access
SonoArc only uses your mic on your device — analysis never records or uploads anything unless you explicitly hit record.
- 2
Run the analyzer
Hum or sing along with the live analyzer. It tracks pitch against the nearest key and shows you where you're comfortable.
- 3
Check your range
Tools like the Vocal Wizard turn those peaks into a practical range (e.g. E3–A4) you can sing without strain.
- 4
Choose your key
Set the song key so your chorus peak stays in that sweet spot. The rest of the studio follows the key you choose.
Pro tip
Long vowels carry more emotion. Keep the chorus peak around your range's strongest third for a payoff that feels easy to sing.
